Terms And Conditions
Welcome to Stateside Media Group. By engaging our services, submitting information, or agreeing to a project proposal, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before initiating any work.
1. Scope of Services
Stateside Media Group provides public relations, reputation management, Wikipedia consultation and creation, media placement, and digital communications strategy services.
- Operational Integrity: All campaigns and submissions are executed in accordance with professional industry standards and applicable platform guidelines.
- Third-Party Platforms: While we utilize proven strategies to achieve editorial placements and public platform entries (e.g., Wikipedia, media publications), final approval, retention, indexing, or ongoing visibility on third-party platforms remains subject to the independent policies, editors, and algorithms of those external sites. Unless explicitly guaranteed under a specific written agreement, outcomes subject to third-party editorial discretion cannot be guaranteed.
2. Client Responsibilities & Representations
To ensure timely and successful project execution, the Client agrees to:
- Accurate Information: Provide truthful, complete, and verifiable background materials, citations, and documentation necessary for project completion.
- Timely Communication: Review deliverables, approve drafts, and respond to requests for clarification or input in a prompt manner.
- Intellectual Property Representation: Warrant that all assets, media, logos, and written materials supplied to Stateside Media Group do not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or intellectual property laws.
3. Payment Terms & Refund Policy
Unless an alternative payment schedule is explicitly set forth in a signed statement of work, all services require advance payment prior to project initiation.
- Refund Eligibility Window: Any eligible refund request must be formally submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days of the initial payment date.
- Cancellation Prior to Work Commencement: If a Client elects to cancel a project before any strategic research, copywriting, drafting, or outreach has begun, a 50% partial refund of the total paid amount will be issued to cover administrative and setup costs.
- Cancellation After Work Has Begun: Once project work, research, drafting, or pitching has commenced, fees become strictly non-refundable due to the allocation of strategy resources and staff labor.
- Processing Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed and returned via the original method of payment within sixty (60) business days from the date of written approval.
4. Project Timelines & Revisions
- Estimated Schedules: Target delivery dates provided at project kickoff are good-faith estimates.
- Excusable Delays: Stateside Media Group is not liable for schedule adjustments resulting from Client response delays, request modifications, or extended editorial review windows imposed by external publications or platforms.
- Revision Scope: Project packages include a specified number of revision rounds as detailed in your proposal. Requests for revisions that fall outside the initial scope of work, or additional rounds after final sign-off, may be subject to additional hourly or flat-fee billing.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- Client Ownership: Upon receipt of full and final payment, ownership of custom written assets produced specifically for the Client transfers to the Client.
- Promotional Usage: Stateside Media Group reserves the right to reference non-confidential campaign outcomes, generalized case studies, or unreleased excerpts for internal marketing and promotional purposes, unless a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or opt-out is agreed upon in writing.
6. Limitation of Liability
- External Actions: Stateside Media Group, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be held liable for third-party platform actions taken after project delivery, including but not limited to third-party edit reversions, page removals, policy changes, or article deletions made by external editors or administrators.
- Client Delays & Errors: We accept no liability for campaign delays, performance degradation, or errors caused by incorrect information provided by the Client or prolonged Client unresponsiveness.
- Maximum Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stateside Media Group’s aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service in dispute.
7. Confidentiality
Stateside Media Group maintains strict confidentiality standards regarding proprietary Client materials, strategic discussions, and private personal data. Information will not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent, except to necessary vendors bound by similar obligations, or as required by court order or applicable law.
8. Amendments & Modifications
Stateside Media Group reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our official website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued engagement of our services or site usage following any updates constitutes full acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the applicable service agreement or corporate entity is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes, claims, or proceedings arising under these terms shall be settled exclusively within the designated courts of that jurisdiction.
